i think for the next 3 days i'm gonna do some cloud studies. honestly the speed painting above doesn't really remind me of clouds as much of a bunch of colors thrown ontop of each other trying to resemble something. i noticed a lot of clouds have a lot of odd subtle colors in them like violet and every warm gray you could think of. could just be the large brush size i messed with; maybe with a little more definition i could shape it up?i like silhouettes a lot though, they can really help bring a composition together!
